NCVO is carrying out research into the links between family and volunteering, in partnership with the University of Birmingham and the University of Salford.
The research aims to address an evidence gap by exploring how organisations engage with families as volunteers, and how families engage with volunteering. We will use the evidence to support volunteer-involving organisations to develop or enhance volunteering opportunities for families.
The purpose of this expression of interest form is to give volunteer-involving organisations who are interested in this area – whether they already engage families as volunteers or not – the opportunity to be kept informed about the research as it progresses.
We have also included a few short questions about your organisation’s current practice and interest in this area to help inform the next stage of the research, where we focus on different ways organisations engage with families as volunteers.
