Farmers’ markets are community gathering spaces and places of informal learning.
To those ends, CAFM offers a limited amount of space to events and activities on
most market days.
Our preferred partners are other nonprofits, OSU, local
governments and their contractors, and other community events. We occasionally
partner with for profit entities.
We focus on subject areas that include food and nutrition, gardening,
agriculture, human and animal health, art, history, reading, soil and water
conservation/quality, and other science relevant to the natural world.
We strongly encourage organizations to propose interactive events.
No sales or fundraising are allowed at event booths.
It's okay to have literature on hand that includes fundraising materials. You can publicize other events where you WILL be raising funds.
We are limited by space and equipment. If you would like to request more than ONE date per market, please note that here. If space is available, preferece will be given to those providing interactive booths that enhance the market experience.
