Grand Valley Power’s Western Colorado Community College Electric Lineman Scholarship is created to promote the educational pursuits of students in Grand Valley Power’s service territory specifically for the purpose of obtaining an Electric Lineworker certificate from Western Colorado Community College.

Applications must be postmarked or submitted online at gvp.org by June 1, 2019. Applications being mailed should be sent to; Grand Valley Power, Re: WCCC Electric Lineworker Scholarship, 845 22 Road, Grand Junction, Colorado 81505.
One (1) $2,000 scholarship will be granted to a student in 2019.
Awards may be used to cover any of the following costs at Western Colorado Community College:
* Tuition costs.
* On-campus room and board expenses during the academic year only.
* Appropriate allowances for books and fees.
The Grand Valley Power Electric Lineworker Scholarship may be combined with other scholarships, grants and awards.
This scholarship is not renewable. Applicants can only receive one scholarship per lifetime. Applicants are not eligible to receive multiple scholarships in a year issued by Grand Valley Power.
A committee of educators appointed by the Board of Directors of Grand Valley Power will review all applications received by the due date and select an awardee, who will be notified by mail by July 1, 2019.
All decisions by Grand Valley Power are final.
