The LUMS Science Symposium brings you two academic events:
1. Independent Research: The research work involved in this event happens prior to the event and will be presented on the event and be tested by the finest of experts in the field. This event is primarily aimed at the University level students but High school level students are also eligible to participate. The research projects belong to the STEM fields. The goal is to test your innovation and research capabilities only to polish them in the best possible way.In this category the participants will show the project they are already working on or have already completed. - Maximum 3 team members can participate in one project.
2. Epistemic Inquest: This event is aimed at giving first-hand experience of how the research culture really works to the high school students of our community. This event lasts for two days. While the College students will be presenting their work and tested rigorously on the validity of their proposals, the high school students will be taught and given a hands-on experience with how to research and formally present it to an audience. There is no prior experience or knowledge required for this category. - 2 team members are required to participate.
