Discount Self Storage Trailer Rental Contract Terms & Conditions

Customer assumes all risks arising from the use of EQUIPMENT and understands that EQUIPMENT can cause injury or death to customer or others if used improperly.
Customer agrees not to hold Discount Storage liable for down time, materials, or other consequential damages resulting from the use of the EQUIPMENT.
Customer promises to hold Discount Storage harmless from claims resulting from the use of the EQUIPMENT.
Customer will return the EQUIPMENT to Discount Storage representative at the time agreed.
Customer will pay for any loss or damage to EQUIPMENT and customer’s deposit will be applied towards EQUIPMENT damange.
Customer is responsible for any damage to his/her vehicle or goods in storage or in transit.
Customer promises to inspect EQUIPMENT periodically and will not operate EQUIPMENT when a defect has been noticed
The loading capacity of the EQUIPMENT is not to exceed 2000 lbs. If damage occurs as a result of exceeding the capacity, the customer is responsible for damages
The storage or transportation of any alcoholic, toxic, volatile, poisonous, dangerous or illegal substances (drugs) is prohibited.
Customer and users must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license, and provide proof of insurance on the vehicle that will be towing the EQUIPMENT.
Customer will not take EQUIPMENT outside LUBBOCK COUNTY, unless authorized by a Discount Storage representative.
Discount Storage may terminate this contract and enter customer’s property to recover EQUIPMENT at an time.
Customer agrees that in the event that the EQUIPMENT is not returned in as clean a condition as when it was picked up, a minimum cleaning charge of $10 will be made. The determination as to the condition of the EQUIPMENT shall be made by a Discount Storage representative.
This contract may not be changed except in writing, signed by an Discount Storage representative.
Customer agrees that there is no reimbursement for unused time.
Customer understands that Discount Storage may hold any reimbursable EQUIPMENT DEPOSIT for up to 10 days after the rental has been completed
Customer understands that there will be a $30 charge for all returned checks!!
Customer understands the trailer is not to be used for hauling shingles or roofing supplies, sand, gravel, sod, tree limbs or other items that are likely to damage the trailer (RAMP TRAILER ONLY)

By signing below, I have received, understand, and agree to the Terms and Conditions of the Equipment Rental Contract. I understand, by signing below I am responsible for any and all damages to the trailer/equipment whether I am the sole user or not. I understand any refund due to me will not be paid unless I return all equipment rented and in satisfactory condition. I understand trailer rental is per day and due back on above mentioned returned date.

The customer understands the transportation of shingles or roofing supplies, sand, gravel, sod, tree limbs or other items is FORBIDDEN and is violating our Terms & Conditions which will result in forfeiture of the deposit, insurance claims and possible litigation.
