Includes Thursday night sleepover and Campfire including meals, lunch daily. Tiger & Pioneer program includes morning & afternoon snack in addition to above. Swim Lessons for the Tigers & Pioneers are in the afternoon. Make-up days will not be provided for missed days. Half Moon does not offer partial weeks.
Payment Terms, Cancellations and Refunds: The deposit of $375.00 ($225.00 for Half Days) includes a non-
refundable fee of $150.00 in the event of cancellation. It is understood the remaining tuition & fees will be divided into 3
equal payments payable on 1/15, 3/15 & 5/15. All tuition & fees are fully refundable (less the $150.00 non-refundable fee
above) until 12/15/2019. Cancellation fees will be assessed as follows: $50.00 per week cancelled from 12/15/2019 to
4/15/2020, $75.00 per week cancelled from 4/16/20 to 5/31/2020. Cancellations after June 1, 2020 will not qualify for
refund. Refunds will not be given for late arrivals, early departures or missed days due to homesickness, inability to adjust
or other personal reasons. One half of the remaining tuition will be refunded in the event a camper terminates due to
recommendation of a physician. Reducing the number of weeks originally enrolled for will be considered a cancellation of
those weeks. Any agreed upon refunds will be distributed at the close of the camp season. I agree to enroll my child as a
camper for the 2020 summer session, subject to the terms in this contract. I have read and agree to the terms and
conditions of the camper release on the second page of this contract. I agree to pay my tuition as stated in the above fee
schedule. I hereby give Camp Half Moon permission to use my child’s image in their brochures, videos, Internet sites and
other camp advertising.
*Half Moon reserves the right to adjust the cost of weekly transportation.
The Camp Week runs Monday through Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm. Any camper remaining at camp after 4:45 will be assessed a non- prorated $20.00 per hour charge payable at pick-up.
The camp fee depends on the program & age of the camper and inlcudes lunch, basic activity programs & supplies, basic infirmary care, daily swim lessons (full day only) and 1 sleepover weekly including all meals. Tigers/Pioneers are provided with a morning & afternoon snack. The camp fee does not include medical insurance, specialized activity programs as described below or transportation to/from camp. Medical insurance is the responsibility of each individual family. The parent must sign a medical disclaimer prior to the child’s admittance into camp.
Specialized activity include horseback riding, waterskiing. The fee for horseback riding is $220.00 per week. Water skiing
(knee boarding and tubing) is offered at $130.00 per week. Registration for both activities is on a weekly basis to enable the proper
scheduling of these activities. Transportation is available from most Southern Berkshire towns. Please refer to the chart above for specific locations, times, fees and restrictions.
The program: The daily program provides 5 activity periods as well as a quiet time after lunch for all campers. Lunch is provided daily for all campers. Except by express permission from the Director, campers may not bring their own lunch. Each Thursday campers will be invited to attend the day camp sleepover and participate in the evening campfire. Written permission is required.

Tuition Discounts: A sibling discount of 10% will automatically apply to the lower tuition and may not be used in conjunction with the Early Enrollment Discount or other special discounted rate offers. A sibling discount of 50 % applies Day Camp transportation. Referral discount will be given to all families referring a new camper to Half Moon. The credit will equal 5% of the new camper’s net tuition upon receipt of the new camper’s application and tuition payments.
Camper Release: By signing this registration from I acknowledge that I have read the entire registration form in detail and I give my child permission to participate in all camp programs, excursions and special outings as planned and supervised by Camp Half Moon. I recognize there are risks inherent in most camp activities and hold harmless the related parties (staff, volunteers and directors) from and against all claims and demands whatsoever on account of or in anyway from any accidental occurrence. We fully understand the Camp reserves the right to dismiss at its sole discretion any camper whose condition, conduct, influence or behavior is deemed by the Camp as unsatisfactory or detrimental to the best interests of the Camp or who violates the Camp Rules and Regulation. No refunds are to be made for campers dismissed for misconduct or disciplinary reason. Misconduct and illegal acts, such as using non-prescription drugs, smoking and consuming alcoholic beverages are prohibited. Violations of these prohibitions as well as any other non-confirming or illegal behavior constitute grounds for dismissal from camp. We acknowledge that the Camp does not maintain any health or medical insurance, which would cover the camper while attending camp. The parent or legal guardian shall be responsible for the cost of the medal treatment, drugs and the like provided to their child during the camping season. Prescription medications will be billed to the parents. The camp will not be responsible for the personal health and well-being of children whose health forms are not submitted prior to the arrival of the child at Camp, or if the emergency release form is not signed by the parent. I have read the above and understand and agree to its meaning.
