If you currently have an account, please choose "yes" and then supply the name you use on your Facebook profile. If you do not currently have one, you'll need to create a free Facebook account before we can welcome you in to a group.
If privacy or safety is a concern, you can sign up for Facebook using an alias or fake name. Simply provide that information to us so we can find you and invite you into the group(s) once the registration process is completed.
Please answer the following questions to the very best of your ability, sharing as much information as you feel safe in doing so. This will help us to learn more about you, your specific trauma background, and healing needs.
All of your information is kept strictly confidential and will only be seen by the Facebook group coordinator and Admins of the groups.
*Please note: the words “Safe” and “Private” are being used synonymously. Facebook has named their “invisible” groups “Private”. Private Facebook Groups cannot be seen by the public.
100% of CPTSD Foundation’s Facebook Groups are invisible to the public. This is including, but not limited to anyone who is not personally vetted for safety. Again, Facebook has named these groups “Private”—we call them “Safe”.
CPTSD Foundation is not crisis care. If you ever feel you are in crisis please reach out to an online crisis support resource or contact your mental health or medical provider.
We truly believe in the power of healing in safe community, and look forwarding to you joining one of our groups, so you can receive the support you deserve.
Please allow at least 14 business days for us to respond to your request. If you have not received an email from us after that time, please feel free to reach back out to the email address below. We do our best to respond as promptly as possible and appreciate your patience as we work to welcome you into a safe group. RecoverySupport@CPTSDfoundation.org
Rest assured knowing the information you submit will be kept private.
