Thank you for visiting this page, which enables you to make a Gift Aid declaration online. If you are a UK taxpayer and have made a donation to a chaplaincy via the UK bank account of the Diocese in Europe, this is for you! Fill it out, click Submit, and your donation is boosted by 25% (see Note 3 below).
If you have not already set up your payment, bank account details for the Diocese in Europe can be found here or from your Chaplaincy Treasurer.
Gift Aid is reclaimed by the charity from the tax you pay for the current tax year. Your address is needed to identify you as a current UK taxpayer.
Thank you for taking time to fill out this declaration. We do appreciate your gift.
Just a little reminder that to direct your donation to a particular chaplaincy, you should state that chaplaincy's name in the Reference field available when you set up a payment via your bank's internet banking facility. If you have not done this, you can let the Finance Officer know by leaving a message below.
Please click Submit below and this form will be sent to the Diocesan Finance Office where Gift Aid will be applied to the donation you have made via internet banking.
1. Please notify the Chaplaincy Treasurer or Diocesan Finance Officer if you
(a) want to cancel this declaration;
(b) change your name or home address;
(c) no longer pay sufficient tax on your Income and/or Capital Gains.
2. If you pay Income Tax at the higher rate and want to receive the additional tax relief due to you, you must include all your Gift Aid donations on your Self Assessment tax return or ask HM Revenue and Customs to adjust your tax code.
3. 95% of the Gift Aid also benefits the Chaplaincy with 5% being deducted by the Diocese as an Administration Charge. So for each £100 donated the Chaplaincy receives the full £100 plus £23.75 in Gift Aid and the Diocese £1.25.
