Theme: colours and materials that can be found in the architecture and artwork of Brussels metrostations.
Activities: to organize at least two activities for groups with a maximun of 20 children (two of these activities can take place on other dates than 19 and 20 September, for example during a couple of Wednesday afternoons in September 2020). These activities should get children excited for architecture and art alongside the station Beurs – Grote Markt acting as the starting point. Furthermore the children need to be kept creatively entertained in the art foyer Qartier during still to be determined periods. Secondly the artist should settle a time slot, before 19-20 September, to create an exhibition that will be displayed for three weeks in the station Beurs – Grote Markt.
With the pictures that are going to be taken during the activities, the artist will make a fotomontage or a film that will be displayed on the screens in the station from 20.09 onwards.
Guidance: the artist will arrange the proper guidance, namely at least three counselors.
Material: the artist will provide all the necessary equipment to ensure the smooth running of the activities, but with as little furniture as possible, seen that the station isn’t really equiped for that.
